Overview

Dual Bay Enclosure, X2-RACK , is a powerful case with USB3.0 and eSATA combo interface. Supporting two SATA HDDs at once meets the need for larger storage capacity. In addition, Hornettek gave HD3211-URC more function for Normal, Raid 0, Raid 1and JBOD. Users can have a double capacity enclosure and operate file storage integration under high security mode. By ease of choice by Normal, Raid 0, Raid 1 and JBOD, HD3211-URC is utilized with efficient data storage. Easy to install, suitable size from well design, and great cooling efficiency, HD3211-URC brings you a pretty dual bay enclosure, unique from general enclosures.

RAID Mode:

　

NORMAL	Shows 2 divided HDDs. FAT format: integrated on both HDD
JBOD	Just a bunch of Drives- R/W each HDD independently. FAT format: integrated evenly on both HDD. Sum of dual HDD capacity.
RAID 0	RAID : R/W on both HDD simultaneously. FAT format: integrated evenly on both HDD. Sum of dual HDD capacity.
RAID 1	RAID: Mirroring on both HDD simultaneously. FAT format: integrated on both HDD. Half of HDD capacity.

☆ Select HDD mode function by setting switch on back panel. Each mode must be started from “Normal” mode. Please follow the steps as below to set HDD operation mode.

　

☆ Backup data before formatting hard drives.
☆ The device can support two equal or unequal capacity hard drives.

　

　

NOTICE:
If you want to change Raid mode setting (data stored will be totally lost due to re-building of the RAID), please DO back up all data before changing Raid mode.
